Project Manager & Lead Designer | Community Engagement Initiative – Ward 33, City of Toronto (2017)
Led a team of five designers to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and design strategy supporting local residents in presenting community improvement proposals to Toronto City Council’s Ward 33. The initiative aimed to increase civic engagement and secure municipal funding for neighborhood enhancements, including public art installations, accessibility upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and green space development.
Our strategy empowered residents to effectively communicate their visions, resulting in the successful funding of 5 out of 6 proposed projects. The sixth project was later considered for alternative funding beyond the initial scope. This collaborative effort contributed to the most successful outcome in the initiative's three-year history.
